Jennifer Gilmore is the author of three acclaimed novels for adults. Her first novel for teens is We Were Never Here.
The Mothers is currently being adapted to film; Something Red is a New York Times Notable Book; and her first novel, Golden Country, was a New York Times Notable Book, an Amazon Top Ten Debut Fiction of the Year, a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award, and a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize.
Her work has appeared in magazines, journals, and anthologies, including The Atlantic, Bomb, BookForum, the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, Psychology Today, Real Simple, Vogue, and the Washington Post. She’s been a MacDowell Fellow, and she teaches creative writing and literature at Harvard University.
She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son.
