Fun Stuff, Lists!, Selection Series

Crushing on princes may be a little cliché, but that doesn’t stop us.

Number one prince in our hearts—Prince Maxon from The Selection series, of course! We like to imagine we’d give America Singer a run for her money competing for Prince Maxon’s affection (a book nerd can dream).

Alas, in case The Selection doesn’t work out for us, we have these other crush-worthy princes waiting on the sidelines:

Prince Harry

The only real-life prince on this list. With no real pressure of taking the throne, this royal party boy is the perfect prince. Plus, we hear he’s single again. Trip to London anyone?

Prince Charmont, Ella Enchanted

Hello Will Graham Prince Charmont! This princely pen pal of Ella is the “friend turned boyfriend” we all want to fall in love with.

Prince Ali Ababwa a.k.a Aladdin

Aladdin is truly a diamond in the rough. He might be a bit arrogant while playing Prince Ali Ababwa, but he does bring us “A Whole New World,” so we’ll let that slide.

Prince Legolas, The Fellowship of the Ring

Although J.R. Tolkien originally describes him as “a strange Elf,” we disagree. Legolas is totally hot with his archery skills, long hair, and sense of humor. Plus he looks great for his age (over 139 years).

Prince Naveen, The Princess and the Frog

Oozing with charm, falling for Prince Naveen is simply natural. Sure, his judgment was a little off with that frog thing, but it was fate. Fate!

Flynn Rider, Tangled

So technically only a prince through marriage, we still put him on the list for a two reasons. He’s a bad boy turned good, and “the smolder.”

Prince Edward, Enchanted

Sure, he’s a little dopey, but how endearing is it when he tries to slay “the steel beast” (known to us peasants as a city bus)? Plus, that face!

Prince Dastan, Prince of Persia

Originally a “street rat” like Aladdin, Dastan is adopted by the king and becomes a badass prince. And more importantly: Jake Gyllenhaal on a mission…with a tan… and long hair. Let the swooning commence.

Prince Caspian, The Chronicles of Narnia

BRB, going to Narnia to stalk Prince Caspian for all of time.

The highly anticipated conclusion to Kiera Cass’s #1 New York Times bestselling Selection series, The One will captivate readers who love dystopian YA fiction and fairy tales. The One is the perfect finale for fans who have followed America’s whirlwind romance since it began—and a swoon-worthy read for teens who have devoured Veronica Roth’s Divergent, Ally Condie’s Matched, or Lauren Oliver’s Delirium.

The Selection changed America Singer’s life in ways she never could have imagined. Since she entered the competition to become the next princess of Illéa, America has struggled with her feelings for her first love, Aspen—and her growing attraction to Prince Maxon. Now she’s made her choice . . . and she’s prepared to fight for the future she wants.

Find out who America will choose in The One, the enchanting, beautifully romantic third book in the Selection series!
