I’ve only read For Darkness Shows the Stars and Ten so far of that list, but i LOVED them! I hope to get a chance to read some more soon!
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It’s so overwhelming when there are so many series! A nice stand alone story that wraps up in one book is a welcome change!
I am really craving Fang Girl
And I was wondering why is For Darkness Shows the Stars here? Goodreads says it is part of a series, with a 2nd book coming out in 2013, just wondering.
What, no The Fault in our Stars by John Green?? Come on.
The list should have had The fault in our stars by John Green, The sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay, Easy By Tammara Webber, Decked With Holly By Marni Bates, Unspoken By Sarah Rees Brennan and From What I remember By Stacy kramer and Valerie Thomas. In my opinion Smart girls get what they want shouldn’t be on the list. It has promise of becoming an extremely funny story, but nothing happened during the whole book. definitely not one of the best in my opinion.
Tiger Lily was definitely one of my faves for the year!
I’ve only read For Darkness Shows the Stars from this list … and I loved it!
Through to you is the only one
so far
A lot of these are on my TBR list. Ten was great!
I have read, For Darkness shows the stars and Fang Girl. I really enjoyed these. I am quite disappointed that there will not be any more. But it doesnt mean its set in stone. Honestly if I had known they were stand alone, I would not have read them. I don’t like getting attached to characters, for them to never show up again.
thats a great list and I adored For darkness shows the stars , and Drain you was like good too. Great list

Great book choices! I especially love Tiger Lily and For Darkness Shows the Stars!!
(The reason The Fault in Our Stars isn’t on the list is because it’s published by Penguin, not HarperCollins. Yes.)
There are so many books on this list that I’ve been meaning to read! I own a handful of them, and plan on moving them up my TBR pile. I didn’t realize all of them were standalones either… which make them that much more enticing (I’ve been reading a lot of series/trilogies lately… and a few great standalones will be a great change of pace).
Also I just realized they asked for not just HarperCollins titles. So my bad >__> Haha.
