If you’ve been following us here on the site, on Twitter or even on Facebook, you may know that Team Epic Reads does a weekly live video chat. We’ve done puppet shows, revealed ARCS, dressed like flappers, we dance, we sing, but we mostly talk about books. Each week we discuss what we’re reading, what’s hot in the YA world and at the end we ALWAYS do a giveaway. You can participate during the live chat and interact with us directly via Twitter or the social stream tool on Ustream. It’s a blast each week and we usually end up bombarding the Twitter world with our weekly themed hashtag. (Power to the book nerds!)

It is during these live video chats that *book shimmies* and *twitter waves* were invented. It is where we connect with all of our lovelies (that would be you) and basically just gush about our love for YA.

If you haven’t tuned in yet, you can catch up on all of the episodes here, or join us for our next live chat in January.

Today, however, was one of our most epic chats. Today was our holiday #BookCheer episode where we sang some Mariah Carey, went through a mega “Best of 2012″ list and gave away these book bundles.

Watch the video and keep scrolling for links to the books we mention!

I love you ladies so much. Thank you for the books, for mentioning me by name (squee!), and for singing Unbreak My Heart at my tweet. I used to sing that ALL THE TIME in high school.

Most of all, thank you for bringing us all together to go nuts over books, and for brightening all of our Wednesdays! Happy holidays!

Happy holidays ladies! I loved the little dance and song to one of my FAVORITE Christmas songs EVER (All I Want for Christmas is You!). Your tea times always make my Wednesdays at work a lot brighter, and I will miss them until they return…

    Enjoy the holidays! <3
