Good news book nerds! Two of our favorite YA books have been picked up and are headed to Hollywood! Becky Albertalli’s Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda is set to hit the big screen and will be directed by superstar director Greg Berlanti, while  Sarah J. Maas’ Throne of Glass will make its TV debut on Hulu! Thank you Hollywood, for fulfilling this book nerd’s dream.

Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda Movie Gets A Director

Simon Vs.The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli, was released last year and is on the fast track to the big screen! 21st Century Fox has elected Greg Berlanti to take on the project, which can only mean good things. In the past, Berlanti has produced successful TV shows such as Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. We are feeling confident that he is the perfect person to bring Simon to life and can’t wait to see the movie magic!

Hulu to Develop The Throne Of Glass Series

Hulu has started developing Sarah J. Maas’ Queen of Shadows, the epic fantasy series based on The Throne of Glass series!  The Mark Gordon Company will produce the project, while Kira Snyder will write the adaptation and Anna Foerester will direct it. We are hoping that Synder and Foerester will do this brilliant series justice as it is one of the most highly acclaimed fantasy books to date! We are sure they will, and are counting down till we can tune in!
