My favorite covers here: Sweet Peril, Vortex, Rush
Well designed/good covers (beside my favs): Reboot, September Girls, Life After Theft, Crushed, This Strange and Familiar Place, Shadow of the Mark (but too much like the 1st book’s)
Worst covers here: Arclight, Transparent, Parallel, Another Little Piece
I really like the cover for Rush because the big letters. And Vortex. I feel like some of these covers could use refinement. I’m a graphic design major and like to made cover. I can see little issues with typography. And some of them arn’t unique enough, or are not using the best photoshop effects. Transparent just looks like a girl overlaying a bad canival stock photo. Arclight looks like it’s bad quality. And that typeface for the title looks like the one from Another little piece. The Arclight title is pretty unreadable. YA covers are starting to run out of creative ideas. Some look like bad quality indie covers. I hate to criticize the covers but really.

A good cover can say a lot about a book, I think that Reboot looks like its going to be a good read.

WOWOWOW! September Girls looks pretty awesome!! I’ve never heard about Reboot (although the cover isn’t a huge wow) it was definitely an attention grabber and now I’m eagerly anticipating it. But I ultimately can’t wait for Sweet Peril!
