This Week In YA: Before I Fall, 13 Reasons Why, and More!

This week was all about the contemporary YA adaptations! Before I Fall hit theaters, we got a first look into the official 13 reasons why trailers, and so much more!!! 2017  is looking like its going to be a YA book nerd’s dream! It’s time to give you all the deets on what went down this week in YA. let’s get it rollin’

13 Reasons Why

The 13 Reasons Why Netflix trailer just dropped and WOW we need a blanket because we have the CHILLS. 13 Reasons Why is based on Jay Asher’s hit YA novel and follows the story of Clay Jensen, who discovers several cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker–his classmate and crush–who committed suicide two weeks earlier. Hannah’s voice tells him that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Clay is one of them. If he listens, he’ll find out why. Watch the full trailer below!

 

Before I Fall Hit Theaters

The Before I Fall movie––based on Lauren Oliver’s first novel and starring Zoey Deutch, Halston Sage, and Kian Lawley–– hit theaters this week and we are SO excited about it!!!! Watch the full trailer below and then GO SEE THE MOVIE!! My eyes sweat so much everytime I watch this trailer 😭😭😭😭

Bring On More Archie

Fans of The CW’s Riverdale are probably getting comfortable with  Cole Sprouse’s version of Archie’s best friend Jughead as a cool, calm, and collected hipster, but in the Archie Comics, he’s usually known for his hanger (hungry anger). In the old school Archie, Jughead craves burgers, but in Archie Comics’ new horror one-shot Jughead: The Hunger, he’s moved on to human flesh. Yup. You heard it right. Jughead is a werewolf now. Jughead: The Hunger hits stores March 29. Check out an exclusive preview here!
