ABOUT

Soon to a be a major motion picture: Love, Simon, starring Nick Robinson and Katherine Langford!

This special edition of Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by award-winning author Becky Albertalli includes new Simon and Blue emails, a behind-the-scenes scrapbook from the Love, Simon movie set, and Becky Albertalli in conversation with fellow authors Adam Silvera and Angie Thomas.

Sixteen-year-old and not-so-openly gay Simon Spier prefers to save his drama for the school musical. But when an email falls into the wrong hands, his secret is at risk of being thrust into the spotlight. Now Simon is actually being blackmailed: If he doesn’t play wingman for class clown Martin, his sexual identity will become everyone’s business. Worse, the privacy of Blue, the pen name of the boy he’s been emailing with, will be jeopardized.

With some messy dynamics emerging in his once tight-knit group of friends and his email correspondence with Blue growing more flirtatious every day, Simon’s junior year has suddenly gotten all kinds of complicated.

Now change-averse Simon has to find a way to step out of his comfort zone before he’s pushed out-without alienating his friends, compromising himself, or fumbling a shot at happiness with the most confusing, adorable guy he’s never met.

This is easy one of the best books I have read! It is one of the first LGBT books I read and warmed my heart. The characters are so unique and you almost think you are there with them. This is most definitely one my “re-read” list.

I highly enjoyed this book. Maybe the end was a bit too much sugar coating for my taste, but still, I feel helplessly in love with Simon. Now I am looking forward to the movie, hoping they did not mess the story up.

I really love this book... It was hilarious and cute in the most amazing way. Simon and Blue really made flirting more delicious with the Oreos and Baguettes... :D Plus, it really made me keep on guessing who Blue really was( making the incorrect guesses up until the end) This is a must read... I rate this book a 4/5
