I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. I think it simultaneously broke my heart and kept it together. The only thing I can say is READ IT. I find myself constantly thinking about this book, and over time I've decided I like it more than I did originally. Jodi Lynn Anderson is a storyteller, and this is a story that begs to be told--and read.
This book blew my mind, not what I was expecting at all. It has made my list of best picks for 2012. I know I'll def be recommending it to a lot of people!
Okay so I honestly do not know how to express how much I love this book! The story telling absolutely *blew me away* and the characters were all just so... indescribable! I was fascinated by all of them and it is so hard to believe how much I ADORED some characters by the end while absolutely HATING others. Or another. Yes, not a big Wendy fan. The dents on my book from hitting my dresser when I threw it across in rage...yeah. Her fault.
I love this book! It completely changed what I thought about Peter Pan. I really hate Wendy now! Also I understand Peter and Captain Hook better. Jodi Lynn Anderson is an amazing writer.
I wasn't too into it at first but omgosh! I love how the author totally re-imagined the common retelling of the tale we know. The ending destroyed me. And you know, Tink might not be so awful after all ;)
