I love the Revenants series so much. I TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY SAW WHAT WAS COMING.
I WAS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *does the I Was Right dance*
I knew Kate was the Champion since somewhere in book 2, Until I Die. I thought Kate was gonna become a Revenant at the end of Die For Me, because she was gonna save Georgia, but that didn't happen. Why did Amy have to wait till Part 2 in the 3rd and final book to make Kate a Revenant? Kate's a kick-butt revenant and I think she deserved a WHOLE ENTIRE BOOK as one. Why do people write triologies? Quartets are even better.
It was so obvios that the main herione was going to be the champion. It's not cause the plot is bad or predictable. It's just, what reason did they have to believe that Vincent was in fact the Champion? Kate becoming so kick-butt in book 2 and then mentioning, Oh yeah, there's some prophecy about a Champion. My brain: Champion, that's gotta be Kate. Champion=Kate. (I even wrote this in my book). I tend to make giant leaps in plot/character predictions that turn out to be true. (Like when was reading Cinder, if you read it, you know who she turned out to be actually).
Who else thought it was obvious? Or was surprised?

And also, Jules falling in love with Kate. I love Jules. If there was a love triangle, I'd be okay with Jules, but Kate never felt that way about him. And him staying in New York kind of made me sad.

Another thing, did anyone notice how part 1 was written in past tense, and part 2 was written in present tense? Why the tense change?

It's quoted by Tris when she is the cell awaiting her death in Eurdite headquarters. "I suppose that now would be the time to ask for forgiveness for all the things I've done, but I'm sure my list would never be complete. I also don't believe that whatever comes after life depends on my correctly reciting a list of my transgressions - that sounds too much like an Erudite afterlife to me, all accuracy and no feeling. I don't believe that what comes after depends on anything I do at all."

Hi fellow book lovers!

I'm in need of some good recs for reluctant readers. An awesome YA with a good romance and a plot that they'll tear through! The girls range from 6th-9th graders, so my trouble is finding a book 'clean' enough for all of them (they can have some swear words and references, but for the most part pretty mild). The four I have so far are Matched by Ally Condie, Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult, Wings by Aprilynne Pike and Paranormalcy by Kiersten White...do you guys have any other ideas?? Or even ones coming out in the near future? (they can be old or new!) I'd love to hear what you think!

The article discusses the early life of William Shakespeare.Polyolefin It also provides information about his plays, sonnets, style, reputation and poems. His writing styles and details about his work is explained in the articles. It is worth saying, if anything is worth saying, or mentioning, my visit to the Asylum (here in Peru) - that is to say, it was worth my trip. There I met the warm and charming Director Nelly who showed me around. Most of the residents (or clients) were out on a walk, the adults, and teenagers, etcetera. In a section in back of the asylum, one can overlook a beautiful meadow, photo frames wholesale and landscape panorama view - here you are on a long dock type area perhaps better put, patio that Dedicated to Nelly de la de de (for her tour of the Asylum and allowing me to meet the clients) .Advance:once the woman, lover and wife of Jason the Wise (taken against her will from her father, king of the Stone-men of the high cliffs and caves in the western part of SSARG), became the wife of King. The scooter was more of an enigma for me. One had to learn how to synchronize the foot break and the accelerator with the gears, which was another big challenge, that often landed me in a muddle. 3d laser crystal The kick-start was another thing, which I found difficult getting used to. But as time passed by I grew up to befriend the machine that had once intimidated me. Why do we have such a cultural obsession with celebrities? And why are we even more intrigued when something bad happens to them? I think an explanation for our fascination with the lives of celebrities comes from a spiritual psychological approach. ndt testing equipmentMany people have a deep, unconscious, unfulfilled need in their lives - a need to feel better about themselves, a need somehow to feel superior - and celebrities help them answer that need. You have read virtually every book and article about the mystique surrounding the work. You saw "The da Vinci Code" thirty times, which is probably a world record. On several occasions, you have burnt the midnight oil studying reprints of the artwork. Wind Turbine magnetNow here you are -- in Paris' Louvre Museum, standing in front of one of the world's most famous artworks!

Books To Read Over Winter Break (5 replies)

I'm having a very hard time deciding between books. I have all these books I bough over the past year, and last year that I still haven't read. I'm looking for something wintery in my library of YA PNR.
Here are the book I know are wintery (and I haven't read yet)
A Fractured Light by Jocelyn Davies
Fury by Elizabeth Miles
Forever by Maggie Steifvater
Endure by Carrie Jones

Ones that look wintery, but I'm not sure:
Magic of the Moonlight by Ellen Schrieber
Undercurrent by Tricia Rayburn
Echo by Alyson Noel
Nightshade series by Andrea Cremer
The Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead

I also have suggestion for people. These are book I've read that are wintery:
The Stork series by Wendy Delsol
The Need series by Carrie Jones
Shiver by Maggies Steifvate
Incarnate by Jodi Meadows
The Ashfall series by Mike Mullin
Everneath by Brodi Ashton
A Beautiful Dark by Jocelyn Davies
Unearthly series by Cynthia Hand (good for anytime of the year)
Once in a Full Moon by Ellen Schrieber
The Gathering Storm by Robin Bridges
Vampire Academy: Frostbite by Richelle Mead
House of Night series, books 5 and up
Siren by Tricia Rayburn

Any suggestions? I'm only gonna read the books I own because I really want to catch up.
I've read waaaay too many Dystopian books lately. And too many 1st books in series. I really want to get back to some of my fav paranormal romance series. But if you know any Dystopian that feel wintery, let me know.
If you have HarperCollins YA suggestions, tell me them. I've read the 1st book in most of the Darkdays PNR/Dyst series that came out in 2011. Only some that came out at the beginning of this year.
No Indie suggestions, and no contemporary and abosolutely no historical.
