Happy July everyone! This month, our book club pick is COLD KISS by Amy Garvey! If you haven't read it yet, it's available in paperback now! To begin our monthly discussion, why not download the book club discussion guide here, and jump in!

Let's start things off with introducing those who haven't read it yet to the storyline:

When Wren's boyfriend, Danny, died, Wren decided that what she wanted-what she had to do-was to bring Danny back. And so, in a heartbroken fury, armed with dark incantations and a secret power, she did.

But the Danny who returns isn't the boy Wren fell in love with, and she must hide him away while her life unravels around her. Then Gabriel transfers to her school and somehow he knows what she has done-and he wants to help make things right.

But Wren alone must undo what she has wrought-even if it means breaking her heart all over again.

OKAY, so now to kick off the discussion, I'm going to ask a simple question: If you could bring anyone back from the dead, who would it be and why?

As long as she wouldn't be a zombie, I would bring back my grandmother. She was pretty much my mom while I was growing up. She died when I was in my early 20's, so she didn't get to see that I've finally done something with my life. She was also the one person that I could tell anything to and I really miss her.

I haven't read the book yet but i do own the ebook version. I guess I better start reading so I can keep up with everyone. I am definitely interested in being apart of the book club this month.

If I could bring someone back from the dead it would be my great grandfather. He died when I was nine years old. He always spoiled me and I miss him a lot. He was my only grandparent that I got along with. I think that if we would have had the chance that our relationship would have grown stronger as I grew up.

Grandparents seem to be popular and I'm going to have to agree! smiling smiley I would bring back my grandfather who died when I was in high school because I wish that he could meet my husband. I think they would get along splendidly. I also wish I could have (would have) spent more time with him and talked to him about history (he served in WWII) and family history because it's become almost impossible to do genealogy of his side of the family.

I don't think that I would bring anyone back from the dead - because in all honesty - no one can no 100% what happens after death and where people go. So I wouldn't want to yank someone back from some place they may be happier than we could know.

I would bring back or even talk to the ghost of Jane Austen or Queen Elizabeth the 1st. Just to talk to Jane Austen about her books would be wonderful and to get her opinion of what people are doing to her books now (Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters) or Queen Elizabeth the 1st what it was like to live in that day and age, what she felt life in general.
