Okay guys, what are some of your absolute favorite vampire books of all time? I'll start off with a few of mine:

Interview with a Vampire
Twilight
The Vampire Academy series
Vampire Diaries
Team Human

humm well as a vampire lover thats a hard one i would have to say my top 3 are .. vampire academy series, blood on silk series and the hollow series

Drink, Slay, Love by Sarah Beth Durst is one of my favourites so far, if only because it's heroine isn't the normal human with a crush on the dark side, but instead a vampire some serious blood lusting going on. Then there's also Sunshine by Robin McKinley. That was probably the first book I read in the vampire sub-genre and it set the bar high for me.

Interview with a Vampire
I was looking for Queen of darkness and found Gothic store. Lol. Maybe I should change my style?!
I am not big reader, but love some movies about vampires.
Someone seen already Do they have a soul? Seems like it about vampires too. Nice start.

Many people would say that the Twilight Saga is the best read when it comes to vampire books.

Personally, when it comes to most genre/topics I tend to go classical in which case I would say Dracula by Bram Stoker is the best to read as this is where all of the vampire ideas stem from. I think that this book is filled with possibility, and has a great storyline considering it was written in 1897.

On the other hand, recently I read the book Department 19 by Will Hill. This book is truly amazing, it takes the whole vampire concept and turns it on it's head and looks at it from a new point of view, it also incorporates characters like Frankenstein which gives it a unique twist. This book is truly worth reading and highly enjoyable.

i read vampire kisses, twilight, drake chronicles, evernight, anita blake vampire hunter, vampire diaries, blood coven, my blood approves, vampire academy, and a bunch of others but my favorite is vampire academy, the drake chronicles, anita blake and my blood approves. best series ever. also the spinoff series bloodlines.
