OMG I could go on and on about this. But here are my answers to your questions:

1.) YES - I think Elena will get with Damon at least briefly. Now that she's a vamp, all those times he glamoured her will be erased and she'll remember what he said (which was 'I Love You'!!!!!!!!!!) So I think Elena, especially with her hightened emotions, will jump Damon's bones but then I think she'll setlle down and ultimately get back with Stephan...grumble.

2.) Dude, Matt and Jeremy must stay team human...this show has gone very "True Blood" in the sense that all the original human characters are now supes! Not cool guys, where's the love for being a human?!

3.) I don't think it'll take Caroline long to figure it out, I mean hope it doesn't. I secretly hope she comes to terms with it, then starts to enjoy it because I love Caroline and Klaus together!

4.) I think at first Elena will be a sexed up vamp since she's been so repressed for so long now. But then I think maybe Katherine will come back or something and Elena will realize that that's not who she is and will probably return to her former whiny, self-involved self. But who knows, here's hoping she goes the Caroline route and becomes very strong minded and independent.

I think she just won't choose either of them. She's afraid to because of what it might do. That it might come between them. I'm hoping she'll choose Damon, though. I'm not a big fan of Stefan anymore like I said in the topic: Stefan or Damon?
