Okay, so now that we've figured out a YA book for every state, it's time to extend this to the WORLD!!!! How many countries can we get on this list?
Here's how it will work: list the country and then the book with the full title and author that is set in that country. Please only select YA books you know for sure take place in that particular country. Let's get started, here are the ones I can think of so far, try to rec books set in countries other than the ones listed! One of the Vampire Academy book is in Russia. Blood Promise, I think. And The Gathering Storm by Robin something...

From what I remember by Valerie Thomas and Stacy Kramer is set in Mexico
North of Beautiful by Justina Chen is partly set in China Sold by Patricia McCormick is partly set in Nepal The sisterhood of the traveling pants by Ann Brashares- Greece Twisted (Book 9 in the Pretty Little Liars series) by Sara Shepard is partly set in Jamaica |

Kite Runner is set in the Middle East. Starts in Afghanistan, but it moves around. So you could use this for the Middle East portion of the map.
