Hey guys,

So I want to put together a map of the United States and have one book per state. The goal is to select books that take place in those states, and only YA books! Here's what I have so far, please help me fill in the blanks!

SHIVER by Maggie Stiefvater is set in Minnesota.

LOLA AND THE BOY NEXT DOOR by Stephanie Perkins is set in California.

HEX HALL by Rachel Hawkins is set in Georgia.

SHADE by Jeri Smith-Ready is set in Maryland.

FALLING UNDER by Gwen Hayes another one set in California.

ANGELFIRE by Courtney Allison Moulton is set in Michigan.

Hereafter is in Oklahoma
Lost Voices by Sarah Porter, and On a Dark Wing by Jordan Dane are both in Alaska
The Magnolia League is in Georgia
Darkness Become Her by Kelly Keaton or Shatter Dreams by Elie James are set in Loisiana
Blood Magic by Tessa Gratton is set in Missouri
Lies Beneath by Anne Greenwood Brown is set in Wisconsin (The Apostle Islands)
Starcrossed is in Massechusettes

Avalon High by Meg Cabot is Maryland. I know someone already said one for Maryland, but Avalon High is amazing... so yeah.

We have some unconfirmed suggestions and some that aren't YA. We want to pick books that not only take place in these states, but make references to them (either the state or a city in that state), so that the location plays a role.
