I read CINDER by Marissa Meyer this year and really loved it. The things I liked most about it were that it was a creative retelling and it featured cyborgs....something I'd like to see more on YA lit! What should I read next?

Wasn't Cinder awesome? Sometimes I really wish I had Iko as my personal assistant too. Okay, so since you like retellings, robots and sci-fi stuff, I'll recommend three books:

1. Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi - spacey, a touch of romance and great action
2. Partials by Dan Wells - genetically engineered beings to look like humans.....yay for cyborgs!
3. For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund - it's a dystopian/sci-fi retelling of Jane Austen's Persuasion!

I second the Under the Never Sky reccomendation.

Across The Universe by Beth Revis is science fiction. I'd rec that.

Shiver was pretty good. I need something to read next that has the same plot. Any suggestions?

Hey Kreeves!

Shiver is wicked good. I'd definitely recommend you check out HEMLOCK by Kathleen Peacock. Has a similar plot line (werewolves + humans = lots of fighting) plus a really strong romance to boot. Check it out and let me know if you end up reading it!

Plus if you like aliens, romance, futuristic stuff, and rebellion Read The Host by Stephanie Meyer (I know but give it a chance)

I totally agree with you about The Host by Stephenie Meyer, but i will warn some of you, it is a little dry in the beginning. it wasnt until i got to a certain part that i REALLY got into it. it even made me cry 3 separate times the first time i read it and that was years ago. since then, i have read it 3 times and i STILL cry at the same certain parts.
