The ultimate debate.... E-books vs. real books. Which do you prefer?

Real books for life. I feel REALLY strongly on this subject, so, I think I might stop right there:)

I prefer "real" books, but late at night in the dark of my room (or when I travel to save packing space) I break out my nook with glow light. Because of this I am always reading at least two books at once... >_<

I do love the new book smell however i would rather have an ebook because i share a room and i wouldn't want to keep the lights on while i read and she tries to sleep so i bought a nook<3

thats hard 'cause e books kind of look like real books/pages[to me any way]

with a real book you can cuddle up in bed and read you cant really do that with an ebook

Whether electronic or real, they are still books. I own a Nook, so most of my books are e-books now. However, nothing can compare to the feel of a real book. The crisp feel of the pages and the "new book smell" will always make me love real books. E-books are just as good because they are practical for travel. My Nook doesn't take up any space in my luggage. :)

I like to feel the book in my hands! I feel like I get more out of it that way!

I like both, but I'm starting to lean closer to preferring e-books. They're just so much easier to sneak during lectures! I mean, I'm just taking notes on my laptop, professor!

I love reading real books. When I am holding a book I can feel the magic surge through me. Also, when I am actually holding the book and turning the pages, I lose myself in the book more easily. :) Definitely real books. I don't like e-books.

New book smell is THE best!

I'm with @Taylor on this! I like the whole 'new-book-smell' thing.

I like my real books! I can't risk throwing a kindle or nook like I do my books when I get upset!

I must say i LOVEEE my kindle but sometimes i like to slip th pages of an actual book so both.

Sure, e-book ARE soo much more convenient but I like having an actual book in my hand.
