Here’s Your Bookish Horoscope for December!

Can you smell it, book nerds? That oh-so-special scent of a new year of life, just waiting for you to unwrap it? Oh, wait. Maybe that’s just the dog needing a bath. Anyways…

January and 2020 are bidding you bonjour, and the stars are suggesting that maybe you need to figure some stuff out before you plow ahead and actually DO anything. Luckily, we’ve got some ideas for how you can go about that, and a book rec to get you through this potentially massive month, too!   • January 3rd = Mars enters Sagittarius. A boost of energy has you leaping into January looking for adventure. Expect to be restless and easily distracted.
  • January 10th = Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Cancer. Find a little bit of soothing balance here against the practicalities of life that will be rearing their heads all month long.
  • January 12th = Saturn Conjunct Pluto in Capricorn. This one’s kind of a big deal, tbh. Expect some tension and the airing of grievances on both a personal and global level.
  • January 13th = Venus enters Pisces. Venus ushers in some much needed compassion, empathy and maybe even a meet-cute as it makes its way through Pisces!
  • January 16th = Mercury enters Aquarius. Here you’ll start to think more logically about what you want and need to do this year. Probs for the best.
  • January 20th = Sun enters Aquarius. Expect to be thinking about what makes you the unique little snowflake you are, and reveling in your own independence.
