5 Impulsive Questions for Susan Dennard

5 Impulsive Questions for Susan Dennard

In this suspenseful 100-page digital-original romance novella from Something Strange and Deadly author Susan Dennard, Daniel’s past—and his first love—will be exposed.

To celebrate the release of A Dawn Most Wicked, we asked Susan Dennard five impulsive questions about her novella:

Describe A Dawn Most Wicked in 5 words or less:

Swashbuckling. Heart-wrenching. Creepy. Oh, and wicked.

Do you consider yourself an impulsive person?

Absolutely. Especially when food is involved. I have zero self-control around cookies, cake, or baked goods of any sort.

Use “impulse” in a sentence:

On impulse, I decided to write a novella about Daniel Sheridan and the formation of the Spirit-Hunters. Fingers crossed you all enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

What’s your most recent impulse buy?

I bought an antique bronze faucet that’s shaped like a fish. It is ridiculous looking, but I saw it and had to have it. Of course, because it’s antique, it now fits absolutely none of the sinks in my house. Yargh! Blast you impulsive side!

How do you read ebooks?

I read them one sentence at a time like most people. 😉 Just kidding. I have an ancient, old-school Kindle that is huge and heavy, but works just fine for all my ebook needs.
