Grab the nearest shelf and brace yourselves, book nerds, because it’s official—Epic Reads Day is officially coming back this summer for a second year! Bigger and better than ever.
Last year, we hosted our first-ever Epic Reads Day and welcomed 100 amazing readers, fans, and members of the community to our New York offices for a day filled with games, author panels, and peeks behind-the-scenes. If you couldn’t make it, you can find out more about it here. You can also get ready to *book shimmy* because, of course, we’re doing it again!!
So, if you’ve ever:
- Had questions about what exactly we do at Epic Reads all day
- Wanted to meet some of your favorite authors
- Felt the need to nerd out with other members of the YA community
- Or all of the above…
Scroll down to learn more about Epic Reads Day 2019! Make sure you grab your book BFF and snag your tickets now, because we don’t want you to miss it!!

TEAM EPIC READS
Jane Lee, Tyler Breitfeller, Ebony LaDelle, Shannon Cox, Michael D’Angelo, and more!
Elizabeth Acevedo, author of The Poet X and With the Fire on High, writes books about badass girls who make their dreams come true. Her dream is to always have a fridge full of stinky cheese and passionfruit juice. You can find her online at acevedowrites.com.
Victoria Aveyard is an author and screenwriter, which means she can read as many books and watch as many movies as she wants without consequence. She lives in sunny Santa Monica with her dog, Indy, the true star of the show. Visit her at victoriaaveyard.com.
Tiffany D. Jackson, author of Allegedly, Monday’s Not Coming, and Let Me Hear a Rhyme, has a new shirt that says “If you’ve ever been personally victimized by Tiffany D. Jackson’s books, raise your hand…” and that’s pretty much her brand. Visit her online at writeinbk.com.
Tahereh Mafi is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of A Very Large Expanse of Sea, the Shatter Me series, Furthermore, and Whichwood. She can usually be found overcaffeinated and stuck in a book. You can find her online at taherehbooks.com.
According to her astrological sign, Shelby Mahurin, author of Serpent & Dove, should be energetic, youthful, and impulsive. But Shelby Mahurin is none of those things. Indeed, her soul is so old that it’s taken up residence haunting your attic. Visit her at shelbymahurin.com.
If Justin A. Reynolds stumbled upon a time machine—because he definitely couldn’t invent one!—he’d convince a young Drake that he’d be better off as a duo and the two of them would two-step around the world sing-rapping happily ever after. Visit him online at justinareynolds.com.
Check in and registration begins sharply at 9:45am (please note that early arrivals will not be permitted into the building before 9:40am). You will receive your badge, schedule, and welcome bag upon arrival.
