Where Would You Fit Into the Witchy World of 'Serpent & Dove'?

In case you’ve been living under a rock (or something…), here’s the real talk: You need to read Serpent & Dove. It’s a French-influenced witch fantasy that’s equal parts Throne of Glass and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and the characters wormed their way into our hearts so quickly it’s actually kind of unfair. There’s endless snark, a steamy romance, and, of course, a brutal fight for survival. See? It has everything.

There’s a complex and interesting hierarchy baked into Serpent & Dove‘s world, involving two types of witches and the overly righteous Chasseurs who hunt them.

In the book, Lou is forced to marry Reid because of a messy situation she gets herself in, and he, a Chasseur, is unaware that she’s actually a Dame Blanche. It’s enemies-to-lovers to the extreme, but it’s also an incredibly interesting look at the shades of morality and complex relationships that can form between all sorts of people. And because we couldn’t help but imagine ourselves in this wickedly fun world, we made this quiz to find out where we’d fit in and what you would be!

About Serpent & Dove

Bound as one, to love, honor, or burn.

Two years ago, Louise le Blanc fled her coven and took shelter in the city of Cesarine, forsaking all magic and living off whatever she could steal. There, witches like Lou are hunted. They are feared. And they are burned.

As a huntsman of the Church, Reid Diggory has lived his life by one principle: Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. But when Lou pulls a wicked stunt, the two are forced into an impossible situation—marriage.

Lou, unable to ignore her growing feelings, yet powerless to change what she is, must make a choice. And love makes fools of us all.
